Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Blind Eddy Games LLC ("Blind Eddy Games", "we", "us") collects through our games and this website, how it is used, and the choices you have. It covers Dreamstitch on Android (Google Play) and PC (Steam), and the website blindeddygames.com.

1. Information the game itself handles

• Saved progress and settings (your dreamers, decks, Sand, Dream Journal, options) are stored only on your device. We do not receive them.
• Age question. On first launch, the Android version asks for your birth year. It is used only on your device to decide whether you are under 13, and only the result ("under 13" or "13 and over") is kept, on your device. We do not receive your birth year.
• We do not ask for your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, or any account sign-in.

2. Advertising (Android only)

The free Android version can show rewarded ads, which only play when you choose to watch one (for example, to earn a bonus). Ads are provided by Google AdMob, part of Google LLC.

Players 13 and over

AdMob may collect and use your device's advertising ID, IP address, and information about ad interactions and app performance to show and measure ads, prevent fraud, and, where permitted, personalize ads. Where the law requires consent (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland), Google's standard consent form (the User Messaging Platform) appears before any ad loads. Ads shown to players 13 and over are limited to content rated PG or lower. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalization, in your Android device settings.

Players under 13

If a player indicates they are under 13, ad requests are marked as child-directed. Ads are non-personalized, limited to content rated G, come only from Google's Families-certified ad sources, and the advertising ID is not used for tracking or advertising. These players are never shown a consent form, because no personalized advertising happens.

3. Purchases

The Android version offers one optional in-app purchase (the full unlock). Payment is handled entirely by Google Play Billing; we never see your payment details. Google tells the game whether the purchase was completed so we can unlock it and restore it on a new device. The PC version is sold through Steam, which handles all payment and account information under Valve's privacy policy.

4. The PC version

The Steam version contains no ads, no in-app purchases, no age question, and no analytics of our own. Steam itself may collect information as described in Valve's privacy policy.

5. This website

blindeddygames.com is hosted by Squarespace. Squarespace may use cookies and collect standard visit data (such as pages viewed, browser type and approximate location from IP address) so we can see how the site is used. See Squarespace's privacy policy. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to send, and use it only to reply.

6. Children's privacy

Dreamstitch is designed for a mixed audience, including children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Players under 13 receive only child-directed, non-personalized ads, as described above. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Sharing, selling and retention

We do not sell personal information. Apart from the Google and Valve services described above, we do not share information with third parties. Because the game stores progress on your device, uninstalling the game deletes it. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to respond.

8. Your choices and rights

• Watching ads is always optional; you can simply not tap "watch".
• You can limit ad personalization or reset your advertising ID in Android settings.
• Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information. Since we don't hold game data on our servers, most requests are handled by Google or Valve, but we're happy to help: just email us.

9. Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the effective date at the top.
